Hacker,lagger??

Hey there,i don't know if this is the right section to post this,i tought in posting it in the "Catch your cheater topic"but seriously i don't know if this guy is really hacking, his nick is [ZP]rus i've fought him before and i never saw him cheating but the last time i fougth him really weird things happened.

I recorded and uploaded a video to youtube.

In the video it looks like he's just another speed hacker and that was what i tought too but if you watch from 02:30 to 02:34 you will see me kill him with only a few mp5 shots,like 3 or 4,and the mp5 is not that powerful.

So i fought another guy(02:37) using only an mp5, and it took alot more shots to kill him that it took to kill [ZP]rus,so i think he might be using some mod/program to push vice city's fps limit over 30, and i say this because he is completely desynched(and it's not lagg he had 100ping and i fought him before with no lagg probs.) and that also might explain why the mp5 killed him so fast,assuming that he has more fps he probably sees players shooting faster.

nah,he had 100ping,it looks like lagg but he was actually desynched  and i know ping sometimes doesn't mean anything but only lagg can't explain his amazing speed he's like usain bolt or something

Looks like he's either using a trainer to force the cheat from singleplayer that enables double gameplay speed or he's using an external program to make his game run at a much greater speed.

He's probably moving much faster because of this gameplay speed enhancement which he has used to make his game run much faster. This will have advantages and disadvantages most likely. He will be able to move around and do actions much quicker such as running, jumping, entering vehicles, driving vehicles much faster. However, the disadvantage is that because everything is happening at a faster rate he will also see your weapon firing at a much faster rate which is probably the reason why he died instantly when you shot him with an MP5. This makes him take much more damage as the gun will be firing at probably 2-3X the normal speed and human reactions probably aren't fast enough to jump out of the way when being shot at like this.

This could probably effect the sync on both ends. When 2 games are identical with each other the sync is probably much greater. However, when 2 games are not the same e.g 1 game is running very fast like his and your game running at normal speeds. This can cause desync problems and bad sync for both end users playing the game. That's probably why alot of your shots didn't hit him on your video and probably for him he found it harder to hit you too. Anyway, if I see this guy i'll ban hammer him. Second guy looked just like a lagger though.

Also, in your video if you look at 2:18 when you knocked him over from a distance with the shotgun you might notice aswell that he lost a chunk of health 2 times. Yet again likely due to his gameplay speed hax but this also resulted him on his screen getting up much faster too.

the 2nd guy is clean(except for the crouch glitching sometimes,but that's minor issues).

The reason why he is moving so fast will be due to this forced gameplay speed enhancement whatever it may be. He is probably dying much quicker too due to playing like this. Not only can he move around faster, enter vehicles, jump faster etc but weapon animations in vc-mp are pretty much clientside which means that when he see's you shooting him on his screen, your player animation for firing the gun will play alot quicker resulting in your gun firing much much much faster due to to this making him take damage at 3X the rate or whatever his gameplay speed has been upped to.

Likewise if his shotgun is firing at a much faster rate on his screen it won't be firing just as fast on your screen because your game is still running at the normal speed and weapons are kinda clientish sided. Hope that makes sense

Yeah that's probably it,he also asked me how can i shoot so fast,and after many fights against him i realized that only the stubby was taking normal damage(probably because it has a low fire rate)but every other weapon killed him really fast,i even tried to use only colt45 and i still killed him with  5/6 shots lol

Didn't noticed on the 02:18 minute that the shotgun took so much damage,i forgot the shotgun takes less damage then the stubby
