Not going to happen. Take a look around at this community and you'll notice that swahili net and wooden calculators is what keeps it together, both things not compatible at all with GTA V.

If you or your team are able to set it up and get it running we can get that branch an area within the community forum, but, speaking for the SA-MP management chapter, we won't delegate development ressources (or any other further ressources for that matter) to it. The last two attempts to officially branch out to other games were closed for inactivity in quite few time.

Made my century. Anyway, what he said though, as funny as it may sound it's completely true. And as stated by some users it's not even possible to keep it up for a couple of weeks probably, not to mention the costs. We already had Unturned and Team Fortress 2 server which were closed due to lack of interest in both projects (although while they lasted, they had some considerable amount of people on), and so will be the same with this one.

We could perhaps try something else, but as for now it'll most likely remain like this.

This will never be a hit like SA:MP has been.
GTA V already has a well-developed multiplayer mode built in - San Andreas does not.
There is just no demand for it.
Cool idea though.

Why'all ignore vcmp? VCMP will make you addicted when SAMP can't  8)
